Are you a drummer who is able to follow a conductor and preferably can read drum music. Rewind is a relaxed adult windband that practices twice a month, playing all types of music from a bit of Glenn Miller and popular classical to eighties stuff to more recent music like Happy and Havana. A rock/indie band who have been together for a number of years are looking for a new drummer. The band has a number of gigs booked in over the next few months and are looking to gain more exposure to industry and take the band further. Drummer looking to jam with local musicians
I’m looking to jam with some local musicians, but nothing too serious at this stage. Ideally in the Redhill/Reigate area, or within 10 miles or so. I’m 49 so I guess a 35-55 ish age range would be ideal, but that’s not a complete deal breaker. I may be up for some gigging later down the line, but I wouldn’t be looking to give up my day job, if you know what I mean. I’d prefer to play pop, R&B, funk, rock, along the lines of RHCP, Jamiroquai, Jason Myraz, Ed Sheeran, Radiohead, The Cure, Prince, John Mayer, RATM (I like a heavy/funky groove, but nothing too punky or bluesy – it’s just not my style of playing).
